Vath V63RS Tunes Mercedes C63 AMG to 585hp

Mercedes tuning specialist Vath has taken the Mercedes C63 AMG which already been worked over by Mercedes’s own in-house tuners, added their own additional special touches to the C63, unveiling an entrant they’re calling the V63RS Clubsport.
The V63RS takes the C-Class platform near its limits with the horsepower of 585hp and 690Nm of torque, an increase of more than 130hp and 90Nm over stock. Extracting another 130hp from the 6.2L V8 after AMG’s engineer’s have done their task, though the addition of a new ECU tune and a more free-flowing intake and exhaust system help the process. Together, they’ll propel you to a top speed of some 202 mph (325km/h), while a limited slip differential with a 60 percent locking rate ensures optimum power transfer to the road.
To increase handling, a new sport suspension system has been incorporated into the V63RS and also with a high performance brake system and new 19-inch alloy wheels with 235mm wide tires up front and 265mm rubber in back provide grip, though the 690Nm of torque on tap should easily overpower even that rather large contact patch. Carbon fiber aero pieces deduct a total weight of 21 KG (46lbs) from the car’s weight, making acceleration even more brisk.
Inside, occupants will be treated to new sport seats, along with a new speedo, TV/DVD unit, and etc. Pricing for the Väth V63RS Clubsport is set at approximately EUR 125,000.
