Evolution X FQ400

Great news for Evo lovers, last month Mitsubishi Motors has managed to power-up the current Evo X to an astounding 400 HP (Horsepower). This car has given the name EVO X FQ400 and it is being developed by a joint partnership between Mitsubishi and SVA-UK. This new tuned EVO X will be entered into the Britcar Championship competition. Kicherer CL 60 Coupe

Kicherer presented its new CL 60 Coupe which is tuned base on the Mercedes-Benz CL 600 coupe. Exterior modifications include a new front and rear apron made of carbon fiber components. Other modifications include an aggressive diffuser with a four-pipe sports exhaust system, differential lock and a modified transmission control module, unique 20? Kicherer RS-1 wheels. and chassis has been lowered by 25mm. (more…)

Abarth has returned to the track racing once again, and it has chosen to do so with its new Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse, the mini supersports car from Abarth, which due to be produced in a Limited Edition (49 cars).

The new vehicle, designed by the Fiat Group Automobiles Style Centre and produced by a team of Abarth Engineers and Designers will be the star of track races from next year and its creation confirms Abarth’s racing vocation. (more…)

2009 Lotus Exige Cup 260

Lotus introduced its latest Exige Cup 260 at the Paris motor show 2008. The car will serve as a replacement for the 2008 Exige Cup Car and many chances have made to the new Exige Cup 260.

The 2009 Exige Cup 260 sport uses more of carbon fiber chunks which trimming it’s weights down 86 lbs. Coupled with a 257-horsepower with a maximum torque of 174 lb-ft, 1.8-liter Toyota-sourced mill force fed through an intercooler by an Eaton M62 supercharger, the ‘09 Exige Cup 260 can sprint from 0-60 mph / 0-100km/h in less than 4 seconds. It’s top speed is pegged at 152 mph. Fuel economy comes in at a 26 mpg. (more…)

Volkswagen Scirocco tuned by Oettinger Scirocco

The tuner Oettinger has made their latest modifications for the Volkswagen Scirocco which includes the changes to the body work, engine upgrades and chassis improvements for a complete package.

The modified Volkswagen Scirocco has the power in both the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and 1.4-liter twin-charged engine which is boosted by 40 horsepower. This gives the power engine output at 237 and 197 hp, respectively. But Oettinger isn’t satify with the power numbers and intend to power up the 2.0-liter to 345 hp and 346 pound-feet of torque sometime end of this year. What comes along with the new upgrade includes the new exhaust system from the turbocharger back and a larger inter cooler. A large brakes and adjustable suspension setup will also be offered. 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

Mitsubishi has introduced their new Lancer ralliart which is on sales now in most country such as US, Canada and Australia.

This new 2009 Lancer Ralliart is detuned version of the 4B11T pulled from the Evolution X but with different intake plumbing, turbocharger (single-scroll as opposed to the Evo’s twin-scroll unit), and intercooler. The engine displaces a familiar 2.0 liters and puts out a respectable 237 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, exhaling through a dual-exhaust setup that’s nearly identical to the Evo’s. Peak power arrives at 6000 rpm and max torque is available from 3000 rpm, the Ralliart is not as high revving, with a 6500-rpm redline versus the Evo’s at 7000 rpm. With the performance, this car can sprint from 0-60 mph in a steady 5.5 seconds. (more…)
