The New Nissan 370z

Seven years after the debut of the Nissan 350Z, the new Z-car is totally been reworked on both interior and exterior for 2009 370Z. Last week, Nissan has revealed the 2009 Nissan 370Z at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new Nissan 370Z receives a new 3.7-liter VQ37VHR V-6 that also powers the Infiniti G37 which has the capacity of 330-horsepower and with a maximum torque of 370 Nm, 24 ponies more than the 350Z’s 3.5-liter V-6. All the new Z comes equipped with either a seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters or a six-speed manual gearbox. With powerful V6 engine, this car can sprint from 0-60mph in just 5.4 seconds and has a limited maximum speed of 155mph (250 km/h).
Estimated fuel economy is 18mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway for the six-speed manual model. That’s about 1mpg higher than the previous 350Z. The automatic is expected to feature similar fuel-economy. The new Z’s wheelbase is nearly four inches shorter than the previous generation with stylish 18-inch discs in the dimension 225/50 tires and 245/45 giving the 370Z a much more aggressive stance.
Braking hardware consists of standard vented discs with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD). The optional Sport Package includes large diameter of 14.0-inch front and 13.8inch rear rotors (versus 12.6-inch front/12.1-inch rear standard rotors) with four-piston front and two-piston rear aluminum calipers.
For the interior look, it is saloon with leather-clad sport seats and matching suede door inserts. It also comes with the nav system interface from the G37, a Bose audio system with eight speakers, XM Satellite Radio and Bluetooth connectivity.
The new 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe model is scheduled to go on sale in North America in January next year, followed by a new 370Z Roadster for the 2010 model year with the initial USD30,000 and with expected 35,000 euros in Europe’s market.
