Audi R8 V10 Quattro will formally present at the motor show in Detroit, the fastest production R8 yet. The muscular Audi R8 V10 runs with a direct-injection 5.2-litre engine which will able to produce 528 horsepower, the same as in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. That’s a gain of 104bhp and 74lb ft over the R8 4.2 V8. With this power, this car can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100 km/h) in a mere 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 196mph 0-124mph (0-315 km/h) in just 8.1 seconds. (more…)

Audi has introduced their first new sports car creation which has announced that it will be released in next year’s GT3 series. At the 2008 Essen Motor Show in Germany, Audi unveiled its new GT3 race version of the Audi R8 LMS as a part of its three pillars of Audi Motorsport. The Audi R8 GT3 named ‘R16’ within Audi’s motorsport division and has undergone all the possible proper testing. ABT Sportsline, a popular German tuner, has worked closely with Audi in developing the Audi R8 GT3. (more…)
