Next Generation Audi A8

Great news, according to the German based Automobilwoche, Audi has confirmed that a 2010 release for the new generation of AUdi A8 luxury sedan. An Audi spokesman reported that the new Audi A8 will be released diesel and two petrol engines. The two engine displacements comes with a 3.0 liter and 4.2 liter V8. To help Audi to improve fuel consumption bandwagon, the Audi engineer will add an engine start-stop system while the super-fast S8 model is expected to carry a 5.0 liter V10 FSI that is good for 620HP. The Gumpert Apollo Speed was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. Gumpert Apollo features with a biturbo V8 fitted with light metal cylinder headswith 5 valves per cylinder, four overhead camshafts, hydraulic valve clearance compensation, double-flow exhaust system with three-way catalytic converter and dry sump lubrication. Spyker C8 Aileron

Spyker has unveiled their brand new V8 powered C8 Aileron Grand Tourer at the Geneva Motor Show. The  Spyker C8 Aileron runs on a 4.2 liter V8 engine that produce 298Kw (400 horsepower) and a 480Nm (354 lb/ft) of torque with a maximum engine speed of 7000 rpm. With this power, Spyker C8 Aileron can accelerate 0 to 100 km/h in nearly 4.5 seconds and the top speed is 300 km/h. Power transmission is done with the help of six speed manual gearbox but an automatic is also available as an option. (more…)

Mazda 3 hatchback MPS

Mazda has presented its new generation of 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback MPS. The new Mazda 3 MPS looks totally radical and agrressive on the outlook. This nifty looking hatchback is powered by a MZR 2.3-liter DISI turbo petrol engine, which can produces 260 horsepower and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. With the help of six mechanical gearbox it can reach to a maximum speed of 250 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds which is better than the new 2010 Golf GTI which came at a time of 7 seconds. Fuel economy is rated at 9.7L/100 km, a 0.5L/100 km improvement over the previous generation of Mazda 3 MPS. (more…)

Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire

Bugatti is honoring the 100th anniversary of the company with presenting the new one-off special edition Veyron, the “Bleu Centenaire” at the Geneva Motor Show.

This special model takes up the traditional Bugatti two tone specification but utilising in one color instead of two colors, in the iconic known colour - light shaded Bugatti blue. The two-tone colors effect is achieved by using the combination of a ’sprintblue matt’ and ’sprintblue gloss’ to create special visual effect. Parts of its engine is also covered in this traditional Bugatti Blue. (more…)

Citroen confirms GTbyCitroen Production

Citroen executive, Vincent Besson has confirmed that its auto maker will produce the new GT concept car name the GTbyCitroen at the Geneva Motor Show. The GTbyCitroen will produce in a limited copied of probably 20 units and it made its first appearance in the PS3 platform game named Grand Turismo 5 and its full-scale model displayed at the Paris Motor Show back in October. The Sportec RS700 Audi RS6 is powered by a 5.0 liter twin turbo V10 which gets a power boost from the standard 580 PS up to an incredible 700 PS, delivering a truly massive 800Nm of torque and 700 horsepower. With this powerful engine the Sportec RS700 Audi RS6 can manage to reach speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and to 200 km/h in just 12.0 seconds and on a top speed of 310 km/h. (more…)
