Offical Interior Photos of new SLS AMG unveiled!

Mercedes Benz has revealed the latest photos of the new yet to be launched SLS AMG which will is due in 2010.
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG dashboard is shaped like a wing and the console looks like the style of an aircraft engineering of a jet. Other features include its long bonnet, short rear end with an extendable aerofoil, big wheels, wide track and long wheelbase. And of course, the new unique swing-doors, which are the Gullwing doors.
The new Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class will only come in AMG form model and it is powered by AMG’s 6.2 liter V8 which is fitted at the front and mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission in a transaxle configuration to achieve a 48:52 weight distribution.
The SLS AMG’s chassis will be use aluminium double wishbones at all four wheels and composite brakes to help keep the SLS on the road. The target curb weigh of 3571 lbs (1,620kg). This means the 6.2 liter’s with 571 horsepower and 650Nm of torque will make the SLS AMG to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h (62mph) in just 3.8 seconds and top speed of 315km/h (196 mph).
The SLS AMG V8 engine codenamed M159 will have forged pistons, a reinforced crankshaft bearing and optimised crankcase structure. It weights has been reduced to 206kg.
The SLS’s drivetrain setup will be the new 7-speed AMG dual-clutch transmission, which will be similar to that of the DTM C-Class. It is joined to the engine with a torque tube, in which a carbon fiber shaft turns at engine speed. Testing for this vehicle will continue until the end of 2009 and the Gullwing model will be launched in Europe spring of 2010.
